Machine intelligence

Automakers are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence (AI), in an age of digitalization, to manage their inventory and keep track of their supply chains. AI can help automakers optimize their supply chain by closing the feedback loop, incorporating sales data into predictive models, and helping them close the feedback loop. AI can also help automakers respond more quickly to real-world events and shift from reactive activities to a holistic process. Automakers are now able to adapt to future emergencies with these new improvements.

Autonomous technologies

Autonomous vehicles are set to dramatically increase automobile industry costs. The cost of R&D to develop these technologies has increased dramatically, with one-third more in the USA, Asia, and Europe, respectively. The industry will face many challenges as a result of the development of these technologies, including product liability issues and safety. The automotive industry must tackle these issues while simultaneously improving customer satisfaction and productivity. IEEE provides training to help you understand the principles and practice of autonomous cars.

3D printing

As technology advances, auto companies are seeking new ways to incorporate 3D printers into their business. From tools and spare parts to supply chain management and complete cars, 3D printing can improve the overall efficiency of an automotive manufacturer. Here are some of the ways 3D printing can help the automotive industry. Find the areas that it can be used. Here are some examples.

If you want to be an automotive technician, you need an associate degree from vocational school. After completing this program, he/she will need to pass the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence's (ASE) certification exam. ASE stands to American Society of Mechanical Engineers. The ASE certification test consists of two sections. The first section tests the ability to use mechanical knowledge. The second section tests the ability to apply practical skills. To take the test, you must visit one of the approved testing locations. You can find these locations online or through your local automobile dealer.

A candidate must pass the state exam after passing the test to become an automotive technician. This process varies depending on where the applicant lives. Some states require that candidates attend training courses, while others permit them to learn independently. In addition, some states license technicians immediately after they receive their license, while others wait until they have completed at least six months of employment as an automotive technician.

To become an automotive technician, one must apply at a local dealership. New employees are usually apprentices when they first get hired. Apprenticeship programs typically last three to four years. During this time, a student learns how to perform basic repairs, such as changing oil, adjusting brakes, replacing tires, cleaning spark plugs, inspecting engine compartments, and performing routine maintenance. Some students learn how to do advanced repairs, such as installing air filters, replacing shocks, repairing engines, and replacing transmission fluids. Schools offer classes during business hours. Some schools also offer evening classes when needed.

Once a student finishes his/her apprenticeship, it is possible to become a Journeyman. Journeymen usually spend four to five year learning how to install major systems like transmissions, differentials steering gear, suspensions, drive shafts, and steering gear. You will also learn how to repair complicated electrical components, as well as how to remanufacture engines and rebuild transmissions. Because they have a good understanding of the job and what customers expect, many employers prefer to hire journeymen.

A candidate who passes all the necessary exams and gets a license might be interested in opening his/her own business. According to Bureau of Labor Statistics (2010), almost 1.7million automotive mechanic jobs were on the market. This figure is expected to rise 18 percent between 2009-2020. A candidate who plans to open a shop should expect to spend many thousands of dollars on equipment and supplies.

The salary for an automotive technician depends on several factors, including the type of employer, location, education level, and experience. On average, a jobless person could expect to earn $20,000 annually. Someone who has only a highschool diploma could earn around 21,000 dollars per year. Earnings for those with an associate's diploma are approximately $24,000/year. A technician with a bachelor's degree earned approximately $27,000 annually. A master's degree earns around $32,000 per a year. Salary increases are common, so a professional who earns less than $30,000 now could reasonably expect to earn $40,000 or more in just a few years.
